This 40′ x 40′ parcel is located at the southeast corner of the Capitol Area. It is a vacant piece of land owned by CADA and listed as a residential development site suitable for small-scale residential development. This site is offered at $85,000.

Status:

CADA issued a For-Sale Offering on June 5, 2009 and interested parties were required to submit proposals by August 14, 2009. CADA received two proposals, which the CADA Board did not accept at its September 18, 2009 meeting. Instead, the Board approved a reduction in the listing price from $111,000 to $85,000 in response to a decrease in market values in Midtown since the appraisal was completed in May 2006.

To be eligible for consideration by the CADA Board at its March 26, 2010 meeting (the earliest date a proposal for the above site will now be considered), a formal proposal must be received by 5:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2010.    The staff report that will include the staff recommendation to the Board will be available to the public on Monday, March 22.  The proposal must meet the requirements set forth in the above referenced initial offering letter dated September 22, 2009.  If you are planning to submit a proposal please contact Tom Kigar at 322-2114.
