Construction
CADA manages apartments in a wide variety of building stock. These buildings range from Victorians built at the turn of the century to modern apartment structures built a little more than a decade ago.
On an ongoing basis, CADA funds and implements an aggressive capital improvement program. Included, are major rehabilitation of apartments and commercial tenant improvements, sidewalk repairs, backflow valve installation, landscaping, and miscellaneous fire and safety improvements.
Prevailing wages, performance, and payment bonds are required on CADA construction contracts. All construction contracts over $100,000 must be awarded through a formal bid process. Construction contract opportunities occur throughout the year.
Projects out to bid are advertised on this website and in the Sacramento Bee as well as in other publications. Those who have never participated in a formal bid process are encouraged to contact CADA. We will be happy to explain the requirements and paperwork.
